"Uncle Walter was the first to change his name from PIASECKI to SANDERS. He was a barber. His wife´s name was Stella. I can remember his dad saying he changed it because it was easier for business. I can remember my mom telling me that my dad lost a promotion when he worked at Electromotive because his name was hard to say. A lot of people in the family criticized the name change." [*MPQ]
