Kataryna LASZCZEWSKA was born in 1884 or 1885, in Poland, to Stanley and Antoinette (GARDNER) LASZEWSKI.
"My mother [Maryanna] had a sister named Kate along with Agnes, Stanley, John, Martin, etc. She was married to Frank Nowacki and had quite a family, too." [*AD]
Kate was married to Frank NOWACKI. He was more than 20 years older than Kate, and he had children from a previous marriage. At the time of the 1910 census, Kate had given birth to three babies, and all three were still living: Walter (about 1906), Anthony (1907), Lottie (Dec 1908). They had many more children: Elizabeth (1910), Irene (about 1912), Raymond (1913), Wincenty (1916), Bernice (1917), Marta (1919), Clara (1920), Ann (1921), Rita (about 1924), and Ralph (1926).
The
1920 census indicates Kate worked as a "lady doctor in homes."
Kate
Nowacki died 13 Sep 1942, in Cicero, Cook County, Illinois. She was
buried in the Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Cook County, Illinois.
