Daniel Spencer O'BRIEN was born 23 Aug 1926 in DeKalb County, Illinois.
Spence went to the University of Notre Dame. He worked for a commercial air conditioning company in California.
He married June HASS 20 Jun 1953 in San Marino, Los Angeles County, California. They had five children, all girls: Donna (1954), Karen (1956), Patsy (1958), and Janice (1963).
"About the summer of 1867 or 68, my mother was in the hospital, and
O'Briens helped my dad out by having me and my sister out. They were great
to us. They took us to Laguna Beach, Newport. During that time, I found out
that June dyed her hair and her daughters never kneww this. When I found out
and was picking on her for dying her hair, then all her daughter fount out
the big family secret. It caused quite a hullabaloo." [*DWH]
Spence
used to collect old cars. He had a Jaguar and a Porche.
Spence and
June owned a couple of condominiums in Palm Springs, California.
D. Spencer O'BRIEN died 19 May 2007 in Arcadia, Los Angeles County, California.
