William Lucas was born about 1814 in South Carolina, a son of George Lucas.
The family moved to Montevallo, Shelby County, Alabama, in 1815.
William Loocus and Franey Lolly were married 30 Dec 1940, in Shelby County, Alabama. The couple had at least 12 children: Daniel Madison, Jasper Newton, John Thomas, Parthena, Levi Vernon, Caldonia A., Lafayette, Aragina, William Hester, Beaugard, Alice, and Alabama.
